Biography

Officer Skyler Parker is a Bay Area native and grew up in the East Bay. Prior to Skyler’s Law Enforcement career, Skyler played collegiate sports in CA, TX, and KS. Skyler coached college football for seven years and high school football for four years. Skyler transitioned from coaching to Marketing where he worked for a marketing firm for two years. In 2019, Skyler began his Law Enforcement career with BART PD. In 2020, Skyler graduated from the Alameda County Sheriff’s Office Police Academy. While at BART, Skyler has primarily worked patrol. Skyler is also a member of the BART PD recruiting team, an Ancillary Background investigator, and is a Gracie Survival Tactics (Level 1) certified trainer. Skyler earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Business in 2012. Skyler also earned a Master’s Degree in Business Administration in 2014 and a Master’s Degree in Criminal Justice in 2017. Skyler takes great pride in serving the BART community and enjoys talking to people about what BART PD has to offer.
